The Aberdeen Youth Mentoring Program (AYMP) provides young individuals aged 8 to 21 years old with free, structured 1-on-1 mentorship and positive social environments. Through dedicated guidance and consistent support, I focus on safety, transparency, and personal growth, helping youth build social confidence, positive decision-making skills, and everyday independence.

1-on-1 Mentorship

Personalized Mentoring / Ages 8 to 21 Years

Rate: Free

Goal-oriented sessions focused on positive habits, leadership, and respoonsible decision-making.

Available both in-person and virtually to accommodate your schedule.

After School & Respite Care

Scheduled Childcare & Support / Ages 7 to 12 Years

Rate: $25.00/hour

Consistent, scheduled support tailored to your family's routine. Focused on afternoon transitions, homework help, active play, and fostering a safe, structured environment.

Wednesday Group Outing

Group Connection / Ages 8 to 21 Years

Rate: Free (Held every Wednesday, 3:40 PM – 5:30 PM CT)

A fun, supervised weekly group outing where youth connect, hang out, and enjoy recreational activities around town. Contact 605-626-8007 for the current group schedule.

Babysitting

As-Needed & Evening Care / Ages 7 to 12 years

Rate: $25.00/hour (per family)

Flexable, short-term scheduling for date nights, appointments, or weekend coverage. Reliable, engaging care focused on safety, supervised activities, and peace of mind while parents are away.

Commitment to Safety & Professional Care

Qualified Leadership: Services are personally managed and facilitated by a dedicated solo provider with hands-on experience in youth mentoring and community support.
Total Transparency: Parents are always welcome to check in on sessions, and direct communication lines are completely open between us.
Structured Environment: Parental Consent and Safety Agreements are strictly required before any youth begins enrollment.

Program Costs & Contact

Core Services: Mentoring and group sessions are 100% free of charge.
Optional Outings: Activities like dining out or local events may have small costs (budgeted around $10 per session, with a $20 monthly limit), but parents are always notified in advance.
